Daniel DelCastillo has been practicing dentistry since 1991 in South Florida. He is married to Grace and they have two beautiful girls, Dara and Aliya. A native of Cuba, he left at the age of two and grew up on the streets of Miami Beach. He attended Hebrew Academy and Miami Beach Senior High School. Later, returned to his roots to open up his current dental practice.
Daniel’s college career started in the University of Miami where he majored in chemistry and minored in Judaic studies. He attended the University of Florida College Dentistry and completed a general practice residency program at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. During this time, he was a clinical assistant instructor at the State University of New York Health Science Center and later at Mount Sinai Dental Clinic. At Kings County, he was the CIR union representative for general practice and a board member of the North Dade Dental Societies and Insurance Review Committee. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentist, Academy of General Dentist, World Congress of Minimally Invasive Dentistry, Florida Dental Association, South Florida Dental Association, and a Fellow with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. DelCastillo has devoted 1000’s of hours in educational courses in order to keep up with all latest advances in dentistry. He has had advanced education in aesthetic and restorative dentistry at the Hornbrook Group, the New York Group for Aesthetic Dentistry, Frank Spears’ Seattle Study clubs as well as several other cosmetic symposiums including Lumineers. He has extensive training in restoring implant dentistry and oral surgery. He has added the benefit of digital photography to his practice for cosmetic imaging and CAD/CAM technology for the fabrication of computer aided crowns and bridges. Dr. DelCastillo has received a certificate for high anxiety relaxation from the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS.) He is also a current member of the World Congress for Minimally Invasive Dentistry and has held workshops in his office for the Biolase Laser. Furthermore, Dr. DelCastillo has been certified in the restorations of numerous types of implants and has been awarded a Fellowship status with, the ICOI due to his dedication and devotion to his advance studies. Dr. DelCastillo will be more than happy to sit down with you to discuss all options to help you gain and replace missing teeth and restore your smile again.
Dr Delcastillo participates in Donated Dental Services and Give Kids a Smile, which gives needy adults and children the dental care they desperately need. He has been on missions such a Climb for a Cause to benefit Operation Smile has made him a pillar in his community and helps several organizations whenever called upon. During his off time, he enjoys spending time with his lovely wife travelling and supporting his two young daughters with their ice skating dreams.
Eileen – Dental Hygienist
Eileen Cordero has been a dental hygienist with Dr. Delcastillo since 2008. She is currently working on Thursdays. She came from Cuba in 2001 and enrolled at Miami-Dade Community College for some general courses. Soon after, she was thrilled as she found herself in the pursuit of a career in Dental Hygiene. Upon completing the necessary pre-requisites, she was selected to enter the program. She then completed and graduated with her Associate in Science Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2006. Eileen is married and has 3 beautiful children where she spends most of her time.

Grace – Business Manager
Grace is a 1990 graduate of the University of Florida's Fisher School of Accounting. One year later, she graduated from Florida International University where she received her Master of Accounting degree. She was born in Brooklyn, New York, and one year thereafter moved to Miami Beach. After college, she spent the first ten years working for various domestic and international trading companies as a comtroller. From time to time, she can be found multitasking clerical and accounting duties at her husband's dental practice. Currently, she is a licensed Florida Realtor, but mostly puts her Accounting degree to part time practice at a local CPA firm.
Grace is married to Dr. DelCastillo and together they have two young daughters. When not working, she spends time with Daniel and the girls, visiting family, chauffeuring the girls to ice skating lessons, shopping and jogging. Grace is a member of Hadassah's Koach Chapter, Skylake Synagogue and helps support Hillel Community Day School activities. Go up
Jeanette – Office Assistant
Jeanette Wells has been our front desk person since 2000. She was born in the Bahamas and move to Miami in 1996. She has attended courses at Miami Dade Community College and majored in hospitality. She always has a kind word and a smile for patients. She is the gentle voice that is frequently heard on our answering machine. Jeanette is very well versed in dental insurance and can answer almost any question a patient has regarding dental coverage or in making an appointment. Jeanette is married and has a beautiful son.Go up
Pedro – Dental Hygienist
Pedro was born in Cuba. He followed his dreams of a career in healthcare and graduated from the University of Havana's College of Dentistry in 1990. He then worked for eight years as a dentist before leaving Cuba. Since arriving in Miami in 1999, he has been working with the practice of Dr. DelCastillo. He went on to obtain advanced training as an assistant and obtained his license as a dental hygienist in 2003. Our patients love his gentle touch and pleasant demeanor. Pedro is married to Nimsy and has two sons. He is a man of faith who enjoys spending time with his family and friends and speaking of the "Old Country." One day he wishes for a better Cuba.Go up
Vanessa – Dental Assistant
Vanessa has been a dental assistant with our office since 2005. She was born and raised in the Dominican Republic and received her dental education at the Universidad Iberoamericana. She came to the United States in 2003 and has passionately continued her studies in dentistry. Vanessa is one of Dr. DelCastillo's main dental assistant and has participated in many continuing education course. Vanessa loves to read, see movies, sewing and needle point. She has a great sense of humor and always has a good joke to share. Go up
Jarred – Dental Assistant – Office Assistant
Jarred has been with Dr. DelCastillo since 2009. He received his bachelor's degree in Biology from Indiana University-Bloomington and completed post baccalaureate courses at Florida International University. As a certified Dental Assistant in the state of Florida, Jarred also obtained an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant certification from Nova Southeastern University in 2011. Jarred is currently pursuing his dental career. He is our marketing and social media expert, staying up to date with new and current patients. He is responsible for all the e-mails and promotions that you may have seen. His friendly, relaxed, and professional personality has been a great asset to our office. He enjoys sports, science, and technology.Go up
Daniella - Dental Assistant
Daniella has been Dr. DelCastillo's dental assistant since 1997. She moved from Romania, Bucharest in 1996, where she was head dental administrator for the Emergency Dental Clinic at Bucharest General Hospital. She received her dental training at Eurodental Bucharest. While with Dr. DelCastillo, she has attended several advanced continuing education courses on cosmetics, implants, and cosmetics. Daniella is Dr. DelCastillo's main dental assistant and is very well versed in the running of the dental office and can help you with any questions you may have. Daniella is married, and enjoys traveling to Romania to visit her family yearly. Go up
Hilda
Hilda has been our office manager since 1998. Before leaving Cuba in 1993, she obtained her degree in computer programming. Since then she has been involved in business managing within the dental field. She has come to know our patients on a personal level and helps steer them into the best decisions regarding their oral health. Her ability to help with financing decisions and expertise with Care Credit® make her a valuable asset to the patients, as well as to the office. Any questions regarding your treatment or with an appointment is her first priority.
During her off hours, Hilda enjoys spending time with her family and three pets. Her hobbies include exercising, reading, doing housework, and catching a good movie. Go up
Kelly Ross-Nitkin – Dental Hygienist
Kelly Ross-Nitkin has been a hygienist since 1991. She graduated from hygiene school in Gainesville, Florida. While in school, she saw patients at the University of Florida Dental School Clinics and received invaluable experience. Kelly is married and is the mother of 3 children. Kelly is very involved in the community. She is a PTSA board member on the Miami Beach Senior High School, an executive board member of the Miami Beach Jewish Community Center, as well as being on the executive board of the Greater Miami Jewish Women's Department. And if that wasn't enough she is also the Vice- President of the Women's Auxiliary Education Committee of Temple Menorah. When not practicing Hygiene, Kelly can be found traveling with her boy's ice hockey teams or watching her daughter play soccer. Kelly enjoys reading, exercising, spending time with friends, skiing with family or on the water with her husband. Go up
Rosie - Dental Hygienist - Office Assistant
Rosie is primarily a dental hygienist by trade, but wears a variety of hats in our office. She has been with us since 1998. She has and continues to work as a dental hygienist when needed, but spends most her time doing clerical work. She graduated from the Miami Dade College Dental Hygiene program in 1991. Her full time job is with the United States Coast Guard as a dental hygienist. She pursues her Bachelor's degree in sports medicine as an Athletic Trainer and works sporting events for Baptist Hospital when available.
Rosie is also a passionate artist. She plays the accordion, guitar, and piano. She is a member of the drama team at her church and a thespian for the Pelican Playhouse of Miami Springs. On her free time, she enjoys yoga, Pilates and bicycling. Go up
Karen – Dental Assistant / Research Coordinator
Karen was born in Venezuela. She attended Santa Maria Dental School in Caracas, and received her degree as a general dentist in 2004. After working as a general dentist in Venezuela for two years, she moved to the USA in 2007 where she began her studies in business. Currently, she is culminating an MBA with a concentration in Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale. She started working as dental assistant at Dr. DelCastillo's dental office in 2009. She is planning to pursue her degree as a dental hygienist. She is also our Research Assistant who studies and evaluates new dental products and evaluates research articles to help Dr. DelCastillo keep up with all current advances in Dentistry. You will also meet her as a new patient as she will do most of our new patient consults.
In her free time, Karen enjoys spending time with her daughter, as a well as reading, arts & craft projects, cross-stitching, cooking, crocheting, and listening to music. Go up
Alex – Dental Assistant & Dental Hygienist
Alex has been a dental assistant with our office since 2002. She attended school in her native Colombia, South America and received her Dental degree form, San Martin University. She made her way to Miami in 2001. In 2006 she received her degree in dental hygiene and has been a tremendous assist to our office. She is one of our new patient coordinators and is extremely helpful in any questions you may have about our office or any dental procedure.
On her time off, Alex can be found enjoying a good book, soaking up the sun, or visiting friends. She is active in her community and well known by the young people as a person of values and faith. Her mild mannerism and cheery disposition makes her a pleasure to spend time with. Go up
